I have come to help people realise their
ideals in daily life
.My work and aims are intensely practical.
It is not practical to emphasise the material
at the cost of the spiritual. It is not practical to have spiritual
ideals without putting them into practice.
But to realise the ideal in daily life,
to give beautiful and adequate form to the living spirit, to
make Brotherhood a fact, not merely a theory, as at present -
this is being practical in the truest sense of the word.

I love you.
Do not worry about your weaknesses. Eventually they will go; even if they linger, love will one day consume them.
Everything disappears in the Ocean of Love.
Because I love you, you have a pool of love within you. When you feel wretched, when you fall in your weakness, have a dip in that pool of love. Refresh yourself in that pool of love.
It is always there. Even if you wash your weaknesses every day in the pool it will remain clear. Don't worry. Baba loves you, that is what really matters.

The scope of service is not limited to gestures
like giving big donations to public institutions. They also serve
who express their love in little things.
A word that gives courage to a drooping
heart or a smile that brings hope and cheer in the midst of gloom
has as much a claim as onerous sacrifices and heroic self denials.
A glance that wipes out bitterness from
the heart and sets it throbbing with a new love is also service,
although there may be no thought of service in it.
When taken by themselves, all these things seem
to be small; but life is made up of many such small things.
If
these small things were ignored, life would be not only unbeautiful,
but uninspirational.

There is one real birth and one real death. You
are born once and you die only once.
What is real birth? It is the advent of individuality
through a glimmer of the first most finite consciousness, which
transfixed cognisance of limitation into the unlimited.
What is real death? It is consciousness getting
free from all limitations. It is liberation.
Therefore I say, die for God and you will live
as God.
